Members agree to:
Act with Integrity
Conduct all professional activities honestly and responsibly.
Demonstrate Respect
Treat all individuals with dignity, professionalism, and courtesy.
Maintain Confidentiality
Protect client information in accordance with ethical and legal expectations.
Avoid Misrepresentation
Accurately present qualifications and services without exaggeration or false claims.
Practice Non-Discrimination
Provide services without bias or discrimination.
Promote Collaboration
Respect and collaborate with other professionals when appropriate.
Unacceptable Conduct
The following may result in disciplinary action:
- False or misleading claims
- Misuse of certification or AAMA credentials
- Breach of confidentiality
- Exploitation of clients (financial, emotional, or otherwise)
- Practicing beyond scope
