Applications are reviewed according to AAMA Recognition Standards and professional guidelines.


Step 4 — Approval

Approved institutions receive official recognition, onboarding information, and authorization to use the AAMA Accredited School designation.


Step 5 — Active Recognition

Recognized schools are listed in the Accredited Program Directory and participate in the AAMA professional community.

Maintaining Active Recognition

School Recognition is awarded for a five-year term.

To maintain active status, institutions participate through Annual School Membership and continue to meet recognition standards.

Schools should notify AAMA of significant organizational changes, including:

  • Major curriculum revisions
  • Changes in instructional delivery methods
